Ingredients for 4 Servings
Spinach: 1 bunch
Shio koji: 1 tsp
Grated garlic: Pinch or to taste
Sesame oil: 1 tsp

How to Make

  1. Cut the spinach in half and place it in a frying pan. Add 2 tbsp of water, cover, and place on medium heat. Boil for two minutes, or until the spinach has reached your desired level of softness, then remove to cold water. Drain the spinach, squeezing out excess water.
  2. Cut the cooked spinach into 3-cm lengths.
  3. Transfer to a salad bowl and dress with 1 tsp shio koji, a pinch of grated garlic, and 1 tsp of sesame oil.
