【Ingredients】 For 4 people
Thinly sliced pork loin (豚ロース/Buta rōsu) 300g
Tomatoes (トマト / Tomahto) 2
Onion (玉ねぎ/Tamanegi) 1/2
Garlic (にんにく / Ninniku) 1 clove
Miso (味噌 / Miso) 50g
Honey (はちみつ / Hachimitsu) 30g
Olive oil (オリーブオイル / Orīhbu oiru) 1tbsp
【How to Make】
1. Cut the pork into pieces 4cm wide. Mince the garlic. Cut the onion into slices 5mm wide along the grain. Remove the stem and core of the tomatoes and cut each into 8 equal portions. Mix the miso and honey in a bowl.
2. Place a frying pan on low heat, add the olive oil and fry the garlic. Once you notice the aroma of the garlic, add the onions and pork. After the pork has whitened, add the miso-honey mixture and continue to fry. Lastly, add the tomatoes. Continue cooking only enough to warm the tomatoes (just a few seconds). Cooking the tomatoes too long will cause them to become too soft.
