Ingredients for 4 Servings
Field mustard (菜の花 / Na-no-hana) 50 g
Bacon (ベーコン/ Bēhkon) 4 strips
Salt (塩/ Shio) Pinch
Black pepper (こしょう / Koshō) Pinch
Sesame oil (ごま油 / Goma-abura) To taste
How to Make
1. Boil the na-no-hana in salted water for about 30 seconds. (The salt is not included in the recipe above and just a pinch will do.) Remove the na-no-hana to a strainer and let it cool.
2. Cut the bacon strips in half, crosswise. Divide the na-no-hana into 8 equal portions and then wrap each in a strip of bacon. Use a toothpick to hold each roll together.
3. Place a frying pan on medium heat. Add the sesame oil and then brown the na-no-hana bacon rolls. Season with salt and black pepper.
