Ingredients for 6 Servings

Sweet potatoes (さつまいも / Satsuma imo) 200 g
Bacon (ベーコン/ Bēhkon) 4 slices
Apple (りんご / Ringo) 1
Roasted walnuts (くるみ / Kurumi) 30 g
Lettuce (レタス / Rehtahsu) To taste

Cream cheese (クリームチーズ / kurīmu chīzu) 50 g
Honey (はちみつ / Hachimitsu) 2 tsp
Vinegar (酢/ Su) 2 tbsp (Any kind of vinegar)
Salt (塩/ Shio) 1/2 tsp
Olive oil (オリーブオイル / Orīhbu oiru) 2 tbsp
Black pepper (ブラックペッパー / Burakku peppāh) To taste
How to Make

1. Make the dressing. Begin by adding the cream cheese to a mixing bowl and then mashing it into a smooth paste. Stir in the other dressing ingredients and continue stirring until you get a very smooth consistency.
2. Cut the sweet potatoes (with skin) into cubes about 1.5 cm on a side. Rinse the cut potatoes in water and drain. Add the potatoes to a pot, together with just enough water to cover them, place the pot on medium heat and cook until the potatoes are soft.
3. Cut the apple (with skin) into cubes also about 1.5 cm on a side. Cut the bacon strips into pieces about 1 cm wide and brown them in a frying pan. Chop the walnuts and tear the lettuce into easy-to-eat pieces.
4. Arrange the lettuce, sweet potato and apple cubes, bacon, and walnuts on a serving platter. Pour on the dressing.
