Ingredients for 4 Servings

Rice (米 / Kome) 360 ml
Water (水 / Mizu) Enough to reach the “2合” line on the inside of the rice cooker
Umezu (梅酢/ Umezu) 2 tbsp
Konbu (昆布 / Konbu) 5 cm square
White roasted sesame seeds (白炒り胡麻 / Shiro irigoma) 2 tbsp

How to Make

1. Rinse the rice, changing the water and repeating, until the water no longer becomes cloudy. Transfer the rice to a rice cooker, add water up to the “2合” line on the inside of the rice cooker. Add the square of konbu and the umezu, and start the cooker.
2. When the rice is done cooking, open the pot, add the sesame seeds and mix them into the rice.
