
This cracker tastes like a cheese cracker.
【Ingredients】 (40 crackers)
Soft flour (薄力粉 / Hakurikiko) 80g
Rye flour (ライ麦粉 / Raimugiko) 20g
Sake kasu (酒粕 / Sake kasu) 20g
Salt (塩/ Shio) 1/2tsp
Sesame oil (ごま油 / Goma-abura) 2tbsp
Water (水 / Mizu) 2 tbsp
Sesame seeds (ごま / Goma)
or nuts (ナッツ / Nattsu) To taste
【How to Make】
① Add the flour, sake kasu, salt, and sesame oil (Sesame seeds or nuts to taste) to a bowl, and give a few quick stirs.
② Add the water and mix well.
③ Use the palms of your hands to bring the dough together into a ball.
④ Dust the ball with flour and use the palms of your hands to flatten it out. Now use a rolling pin to flatten to a thickness of 5mm and cut into 40 pieces of whatever shape you like.
⑤ Arrange the dough pieces on a cookie sheet.
⑥ Bake at 170℃ for 10 minutes, then lower the temperature to 160℃ and bake for another 10 minutes.
