Carrot and Walnut Shiokoji Salad

【Ingredients】 (4 servings)
Carrot……1 (About 120g (4.2oz))
Dried hijiki (type of seaweed)……5g (.18oz)
Walnuts……20g (.71oz)
Shiokoji Dressing〕
Shiokoji……1tbsp
Olive oil……2tbsp
Vinegar……1tbsp
Black pepper……Pinch
Carrot leaves as garnish (if available)……As appropriate

【How to Make】
① Cut the carrot into thin strips. Place the carrot strips into water for about 10 minutes and then parboil. Rough cut the walnuts.
② Add the shiokoji, olive oil, vinegar, and black pepper to a bowl and mix.
③ Add the carrots to the dressing and mix. Set aside for about 10 minutes to let the flavors combine.
④ Add the walnuts immediately before eating. Mix them into the salad and then transfer the salad to a serving bowl. Garnish with carrot leaves if you have some.
